Expressed in a mammalian cell line
Canine TSH is a heterodimeric glycoprotein consisting of two non-covalently linked subunits, an alpha subunit (96 amino acid residues, aar) and a beta subunit (118 aar).
Recombinant canine TSH is produced by co-expression of the alpha (UniProt Q9XSW8) and beta (UniProt P54828) subunits of TSH. Beta subunit contains alanine instead of valine at position 81 (Val81Ala polymorphism in canine TSH beta subunit has been reported).
Calibrator or standard in immunoassays. Biological activity has not been determined.

Concentration is determined by Lowry method using BSA as a standard
Lyophilized from 10 mM K-phosphate, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM D-mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS.
