Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with TSH from human pituitary gland.
All MAbs specifically recognize the beta-subunit of human TSH.
MAbs 1CT1 and 7CT8 specifically recognize the beta-subunit of canine TSH.
MAbs TSB1, 1CT1 and 7CT8 do not cross-react with human LH, FSH and HCG.
MAb TSB4 does not cross-react with human LH and FSH, but it cross-reacts with human HCG.

Recommended pairs for sandwich ELISA (capture - detection):
Pair TSB1 - TSB4 recognizes human TSH
Pairs 7CT8 – 1CT1 and 11E4cc – 1CT1 recognize β-subunit of human and canine TSH.
MAbs 1CT1 and 11E4cc react with β-subunit of canine TSH in Western blotting under non-reducing conditions.
