Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with dopamine conjugated with bovine serum albumin.

Specificity:

Catecholamine

Affinity of MAb 2B11:

Kd = 108 for DA-BSA
Kd = 107 for NA-BSA
Kd = 104 for unconjugated DA

At 1 µM MAb 2B11 inhibits dopamine binding to D-2 receptor in membrane P-2 fraction from human Corpus striatum.

IgG1 for MAb 2B11

Applications:

Immunocytochemistry detection of catecholamine-secreted cells.
