Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a Balb/c mice immunized with purified transferrin from pooled human plasma (1C10) or with placental transferrin receptor or transferrin (8B9, 11D3, 12A6).
Complex between transferrin and soluble transferrin receptor for MAbs 8B9 and 11D3.
MAb 1C10 does not cross-react with mouse, rabbit, bovine transferrin and with human lactoferrin.
