  • Description:

    Human TSH is a heterodimeric glycoprotein consisting of two non-covalently linked subunits, an alpha subunit (92 amino acid residues, aar) and a beta subunit (118 aar).

    Recombinant human TSH is produced by co-expression of the alpha (UniProt P01215) and beta (UniProt P01222) subunits of TSH.

    Does not contain tags.

  • Applications:

    Calibrator or standard in immunoassays. Biological activity has not been determined.

  • Analysis: 

    Purity >95% (SDS-PAGE in non-reducing conditions)

    Product may contain free beta subunit

    Concentration is determined spectrophotometrically

  • Purification:

    Affinity chromatography

  • Presentation:

    Lyophilized from 10 mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM D-mannitol, 0.1 % CHAPS

    It is recommended to reconstitute this product with deionized water to its initial concentration.

  • Storage:

    Lyophilized at -20 °C (-15 … -30 °C allowed)

    Reconstituted at -70 °C (-65 … -80 °C allowed)

  • Other information:

    Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to aliquot the product after reconstitution.

    It is recommended to use 10 mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM D-mannitol, 0.1 % CHAPS, to prepare diluted samples.
