    Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with human brain S100 proteins.

  • Specificity:

    MAbs 8B10cc, 6G1cc and 4B3 are specific to S100BB and S100A1B.
    MAb 3B10 is specific to S100BB.

  • MAb isotypes:

    IgG1 for MAbs 8B10cc, 6G1cc
    IgG2a for MAbs 3B10, 4B3

  • Applications:

    S100 immunoassay and immunoaffinity purification (except MAb 4B3).

    All MAbs are working in Western blotting.

    Recommended pairs for sandwich immunoassay (capture-detection):
    8B10cc – 6G1cc
    3B10 – 6G1cc

    MAbs 8B10cc, 3B10 and especially 6G1cc are sensitive to EDTA or other bivalent-binding agents. Better performance can be obtained in presence of 5 mM CaCl2 in the assay buffers.
