MAbs:

1C5, 4G4, 5B12, 4F1, 7E3, 9A10, 1E9

Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified rabies virus.

Specificity:

MAbs 4F1, 7E3 and 9A10 are specific to glycoprotein.

MAbs 4G4, 1E9 and 5B12 are specific to ribonucleoprotein.

MAb 1C5 has a virus-neutralizing activity in respect to the majority of standard RV and rabies-relative viruses: CVS, Lagos bat, Mokola, Flury lep, Duvenhage and the field isolates.

MAb isotypes:

IgG1 for MAb 9A10
IgG2a for MAbs 1C5, 5B12, 1E9, 7E3
IgG2b for MAbs 4G4, 4F1

Applications:

MAbs 1C5, 4G4, 5B12, 4F1, 7E3, 9A10 and 1E9 are working in EIA.

MAbs 5B12, 4F1, 7E3, 9A10 and 1E9 are working in Western blotting.

MAbs 5B12, 4F1, 7E3, 9A10 and 1E9 are working in immunofluorescence.

MAb 1C5 works in immunocytochemistry.

Purification:

MAb 1C5 is purified by chromatography on protein G Sepharose and all other MAbs on protein A Sepharose.

Presentation:

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09 % sodium azide (NaN)

Storage:

+4 °C (+2 … +8 °C allowed)
